National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Oct. 25

Saturday, October 25, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Sponsored by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, the event is aimed at reminding citizens across the nation and the Commonwealth that safe disposal of unused prescription drugs is one of the best ways to fight drug abuse.

Paul Miller’s Law (the Hands-Free Law): Effective June 5

Effective June 5, 2025, Paul Miller’s Law, also known as the Hands-free Law, will officially take effect across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This essential new legislation aims to protect all road users by significantly reducing distracted driving, which is a leading cause of traffic crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
