Impact and Uplift Peers. Student Giving at ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵMake Your Impact Now

Join our student giving community!

Join the thousands of students, alumni, and friends in giving back to the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ community. Giving back to ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ not only helps the university but also helps the students. Your peers benefit from your generosity when you give a gift of any amount to ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ. Hawks benefit greatly from several foundations, scholarships, and grants through ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ that are funded by students like you.

Together, we have strength in numbers.

Join ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ’s student leadership society, the Future Leaders Council. Your gift of $100 (or more) would place you in the Future Leaders Council today with benefits to enjoy.

Senior Class Gift

Become a part of ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ's rich tradition alongside thousands of students who have come before you!

This year, we invite you to support an area of campus that truly resonates with you—whether it’s your college, your major, your beloved sports team, or other vital initiatives like the Student Assistance Fund.

We warmly invite you to uphold this cherished tradition alongside your fellow graduates. As a token of our appreciation, seniors who contribute at least $20.25 will receive beautiful crimson and grey philanthropy cords to wear with pride during commencement to signify their generosity. Most importantly, your gift will help pave the way for future generations of ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ students to succeed.

You may pick up your philanthropy cords in person at Sutton Hall 441 or have them mailed to you.

  • Gifts made after April 22, 2026, cannot be mailed and must be picked up in person.
  • The final day to make your gift and receive philanthropy cords is May 6, 2026.

Upcoming Changes

This initiative is changing for students expected to graduate in fall 2026 and later. Students who would like to earn philanthropy cords to wear for their graduation ceremony must display a habit of philanthropy at ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ. This will be tracked through earned badges in Accredible. The students who earn all required badges will be contacted about receiving their cords during their expected graduation year.

FAQ

I already pay tuition, why should I give more?

Most Crimson Hawks don't realize that your tuition and state funds cover less than 25 percent of your ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ education. ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ is able to thrive due to private support that helps bridge the actual cost of attending ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ. Your own ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ experience has largely been supplemented by students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends, corporations, and foundations. By supporting ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ through giving back to the student giving project, your favorite program or department you are helping ensure your own ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ experience is top-notch.

Does my participation matter?

Yes! Student giving is a great way to support your peers and foster good feelings. Giving back as a student allows you to promote the philanthropic culture on our campus and improve your experiences. Some ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ students rely on the resources that are provided on campus and funded by students like you.

Does the size of my gift matter to ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ?

Every gift has the ability to make a great impact on a current or future Crimson Hawk.

No matter the size of the gift, it still has the capability to make a huge impact on ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ students.

How does being a donor affect me?

The Fund for ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ and Student Giving programs have built up an expansive network of Crimson Hawks to provide support to all of our donors. Being a donor makes ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ a smaller and more intimate experience. Additionally, if you become a member of the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Leadership Society as a student (with a gift of $100 or more) you will have the opportunity to connect with other esteemed donors in the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Leadership Society by being invited to exclusive events.
