The Oak Grove has a new resident. Thanks to the generosity of Ray Kinter ’67, M’68, it is now home to a bronze hawk statue, created by artist . Kinter presented this new addition as a gift to the university, its current students, its future students, and the alumni who are proud to call ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ home.

Members of the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ community are invited to join representatives from the Division of University Advancement and the Allegheny Arboretum at ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ to dedicate the statue on Thursday, April 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. on the flagstone patio outside the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Performing Arts Center.

A bronze statue of a hawk in flight, mounted at the top of a white pedestal, is on display in front of a glass-fronted building with columns.

A bronze hawk, donated by ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ alumnus Ray Kinter, was recently installed in front of the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Performing Arts Center.
