In order to provide the best protections to ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ users from off campus, IT Services is updating the VPN connection software to utilize Palo Alto GlobalProtect software.
Palo Alto GlobalProtect is the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ VPN solution, allowing users to connect to the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ campus networks and access many secured resources. GlobalProtect is a “client” software and must be installed on any computer or mobile device that needs to connect to the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ VPN. The ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ GlobalProtect VPN solution is designed to enhance our security posture by requiring Multifactor Authentication (MFA) access to the service.
The current VPN connection method that utilizes Windows and Mac OS-provided solutions will be deprecated in the near future.
