The group began their tour at Benedum Hall, home to the Swanson School of Engineering, where they learned about engineering majors, cutting-edge laboratories, and ongoing student innovation projects. Club members also explored the campus and visited the Cathedral of Learning, one of Pitt’s most iconic landmarks.

Students had the opportunity to see Pitt’s newly developed engineering and research spaces, featuring advanced equipment and modern collaborative areas that support interdisciplinary work. The trip provided valuable insights into university-level STEM programs and helped 3+2 pre-engineering students make informed decisions about their academic futures.

The visit also strengthened camaraderie within the clubs, inspiring members to continue pursuing opportunities that expand both their academic and professional horizons.

The Physics and Pre-Engineering Clubs plan to offer additional university visits and STEM-focused activities throughout the academic year.
